Problem Note 52768: SAS® Data Integration Studio 4.8 generates a Java error in jobs that use the Data Quality transformations

When you are using SAS Data Integration Studio 4.8, jobs that use any of the Data Quality transformations fail with a Java error. For example, if the job contains an Apply Lookup Standardization transformation, the following error occurs:
Apply Lookup Standardization: java.lang.NullPointerException
This error occurs with the following Data Quality transformations:
- Apply Lookup Standardization
- Create Match Code
- Standardize with Definition
